Shira Bezie

Director, Early Childhood Hebrew

Shira was born Ethiopia and moved to Israel. She graduated Bachelor’s degree in business administration at
the University of Derby. In 2022, she started her Master’s degree in Teaching Hebrew as a Second Language
from Middlebury College. Shira has more than 10 years of experience working with young children. She
was a leading teacher for preschool-age students at Sela for 7 years, where she interacted with and
educated children from all over the world. In this role, she exposed and guided young and diverse
international students in their first steps toward mastering the English and Hebrew languages. Shira joined the Sela family in 2016.
