Ryan has worked in the DC education space for 17 years as a teacher and administrator. He has worked in both DC public and public charter schools and believes in the power of education to create unique opportunities for young people. Entering his 5th year at Sela, Ryan is excited to expand in a role that provides students, teachers and families what they need to be the best they can be for their students. Ryan received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Urban Studies and Spanish, an M.Ed from American University, an Executive Masters in Leadership for DC school leaders at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, and a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown.
